15. 09. - 19. 09. 2009Second Masterclass Academy for Medieval Music within the Landesakademie Ochsenhausen 2009From 15.-19.09.09 the second Academy for Medieval Music will take place within the Landesakademie Baden Württemberg at Ochsenhausen. The masterclass's topic will be again Performing Music of the Middle Ages. Basic techniques. Faculty: Benjamin Bagby, Ensemble Sequentia/Université de Sorbonne, Paris: voice, harp, lyre, Susanne Ansorg, Ensemble Ordo Virtutum: fiddle, medieval bowed instruments, Prof. Dr. Stefan Johannes Morent, Ensemble Ordo Virtutum/University of Tübingen: Performance practice, musicology. At the end of the masteclass ensembles Sequentia and Ordo Virtutum will perform a concert at St. George's Church of the UNESCO-World Cultural Heritage Isle of Reichenau. The masterclass united students of Germany, France, the Netherlands and Japan.
